I’ve done some click to call experiments. Definitely some potential to it. Now if you’re a national advertiser you can use one national phone call instead of multiple local ones. “This can be especially helpful when you’re trying to connect with the business call center rather than a specific business location,”
The cost of a click-to-call is the same as the cost of a click-to-Web.
A call is reported as soon as the user clicks on the phone number, regardless of whether or not it is completed. Therefore, if a user cancels a call before it finishes connecting, the advertiser is still charged.

Mogreet and American Greetings Corp. have partnered for MMS ecards and Clickatell estimates that consumers will send 1.15 billion text messages on Valentine’s Day. Read more @ Mobile Marketing. Not sure if that stat is right because Mashable has a post that daily text messages are at 4.3 billion a day. So I’m either reading one of these posts wrong are one of them is wrong. Either way that’s a huge amount of texts!
